HEAD OF OPERATIONS - LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN

We are an international team that share a passion for sports, health and balanced nutrition. You will work within the Supply Chain Team and oversee the day-to-day flow of goods between our warehouses and customers to ensure an outstanding customer experience. As such we are looking for someone who can work well independently but will also need to work well cross departmentally.

CHALLENGES:
The Head of Operations (Supply Chain & Fulfilment) will take responsibility for driving operational excellence at VAHA and build trust and influence with all key stakeholders. They will also bring cost discipline and add value through ongoing process improvement in the areas of manufacturing, warehousing, fulfilment, returns and partner relationships.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on leader who can execute and bring the Operations function to the next level. This includes preparing our operations, including logistics, to be ready to scale across Europe as orders consistently rise month on month. You will manage all immediate requirements for the business alongside setting the medium- and long-term roadmap for operational requirements for the business.

Scale VAHAs Logistics and Operational teams and processes

• Manage the Supply Chain, Logistics and Fulfilment team
• Work with all customer-facing teams on how to make the delivery experience of VAHA the best possible
• Own Planning, Quality, Logistics, Fulfilment, Last Mile and Supply Chain IT, 3PL partners, freight vendors, and interface with warehouse operators to achieve key goals
• Drive both internal and external (partner) operational KPI’s
• Building a culture of data driven decisions within the operations function
• Prepare and oversee the implementation of an ERP system
• Identify areas of process improvement, document, execute and iterate
• Develop clear contingency plans for VAHA’s supply chain to avoid disruptions
• Oversee day-to-day flow of products between our warehouses and our customers
• Support the business through growing order volumes and maintaining 7-10 day delivery timelines
• You will help initiate cross-functional projects, such as setting up the logistics framework for new business partners
• Work with and collaborate cross departmentally

EXPECTATIONS:

• 5+ years of Operations / Supply Chain / Customer Success Experience
• Hands-on experience in developing & executing strategies, backed by KPIs
• Continuous improvement mindset, consistently challenging the status-quo
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on attitude - you understand what really matters and can quickly assess all possibilities and risks
• Capability to build and manage a high performing team with inspirational and positive leadership
• Experience working in an ecommerce company, or in a hands-on data-driven environment
• An exceptional academic record with a degree in Engineering, Business, Analytics or a related field
• In-depth understanding of project management - you know what it takes to lead successful projects without losing the focus on time, quality, budget and of course, our values
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired results
• You are an ambitious and reliable team player, with a proactive attitude and willingness to be part of something big, without losing the fun or focus
• You are fluent in English and have a good understanding of German (at least B1/B2)
