About the Job
We are seeking an experienced, strongly motivated Chief Architect to join our team for a career in building the future of personal investing with a focus on private placement assets.

Just like an architect building a house, we are seeking a Chief Architect to bring the Acquire UI/UX design to life. Someone that will build the product to last and prepare its architecture for generations of evolutions. This is not a role to build an MVP that has to be rebuilt three years down the road. The CA will work hand-in-hand with the Product and technology development team to drive product development from the ground level up and discuss the feasibility of new ideas, roadmap fit, milestone launch goals and determine how to get there.

The CA has a strong operational mindset and thinks about the balance between higher production and quality of code, future proofing, and White-label parallels. This position needs a mindset that is methodical, process-oriented, and laser-focused on KPIs. They establish focus for the engineering team as its leader and make sure that deadlines are met. In two words they; ensure execution.

The CA understands how to build systems and processes that evolve and grow as the team scales. Documenting procedures and workflows for all future team members to follow and align with quickly. The CA will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and doing some deep coding and code reviews. This role is vitally connected to the work itself, where they get their hands dirty, and can grow and scale technical operations through people and processes. The CA will have great control, can take total ownership of their team with room to advance.

The Role
• Responsible for the Development of a new platform allowing users to trade private placement digital securities
• Development of Databases and connecting of APIs to enable external tools in the apps UX
• Document and present to management on the overall state of the product, technical decisions, capabilities, strengths and weaknesses, and inform engineering priorities
• Interface with partners and customers to represent the value of the product, how they can consume and integrate with it, and the value that it brings to participants
• Responsible for high-level recommendation and validation process of all aspects of the full stack platform
• Conduct proofs of concept, demonstrations, and implement solutions into production
Lead and mentor the engineering team on design, technology, and best practices for the overall product

The Requirements
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience in building and scaling system architecture
• Self-starter, effective working independently and as part of a team and dives into the company culture.
• Full Stack Development knowledge / experience in multiple tech stacks - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and one or more back end languages, preferred is Python, bonus languages listed in skills.
• Cloud based database development with accompanying business team facing internal tools
• Bonus but not necessary - if you are familiar coding Smart Contracts on various blockchains, including the use of solidity
• Experience building customer facing APIs, while integration and automating API access
• Experience managing and mentoring dev teams; Foster a highly collaborative environment for development teams by removing roadblocks, and providing guidance, inspiration, and motivation for front line developers.
• Experience defining and building software architecture
• Expert level knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Ability to provide expertise on timelines and best way to build custom software
• Ability to negotiate, communicate, and collaborate with CTO’s, CEO’s and other critical positions.
