The Role

We are hiring for an equity role to help us with private sector sales. This person would have experience (ideally 10+ years) selling or managing sales & marketing operations for a technology or service to REITs and/or institutional real estate clients.

The right candidate will have a strong understanding of the customer’s needs and way of doing business. They will be able to independently execute outreach to new or existing contacts, including everything from initial contact to closing the sale to customer service. This is a highly independent, advanced-level business developer and sales role specific to institutional CRE. They should have worked with customers that have hundreds of millions to billions of CRE assets under management (AUM.)

The role can be done in addition to a day job or as a primary role. This position encompasses all sales and business development roles and some marketing. For the right person, there is long-term opportunity to develop into a CRO/CMO role as the company grows. All work will be 100% remote for the foreseeable future.

The position will be compensated with equity only for the near term followed by salary at a later date. Salary posted in this ad is an estimated future salary after sales contracts are secured. The right candidate will have personal resources that allows them to work without salary for 6-12 months or more, and a very strong appetite for risk. They may have run their own business in the past.
