Building the Shopify of physical retail*: we are looking for a driven Sales Manager to join our team on our mission to unlock physical retail to digital native D2C brands. The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience in the fashion & lifestyle space, is passionate about independent labels and is a real hunter when it comes to discovering unique vibrant brands.

At Freiraum, we are on a mission to become the leading full-suite omnichannel platform for purpose-driven digital brands seeking offline distribution channels. We connect online with offline, allowing brands to launch their offline store right from the palm of their hands, whilst simultaneously selling on the Freiraum online marketplace.

Since our launch in 2019, we have built a stellar product and now can't wait to properly throw it on the market. We already have 60+ brands on our online marketplace and are showcasing a super fun edit of brands in our concept store at Quartier 205. Along the way, we landed an exciting partnership with a very well established German shoe giant and built a small fun team of superstars which we are now looking to grow.

The Role

Our Sales Crew is Freiraum's frontline, always on the lookout for new brands to join Freiraum as well as searching for new attractive sectors. They own the brand relationship from when they sign up, all the way through to the first sale and their annual feedback chats. The sales team is usually on the phone or out and about for most of the week, speaking to potential new labels; they are skilled at building trust, explaining how Freiraum works and nurturing successful long-term relationships with our brands.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be the brand champion, driving business growth through finding new vibrant, independent labels and winning them for the Freiraum concept
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with brands, helping them do what they do best: create! while Freiraum takes care of the rest
  • Proactively guide brands through our process and ensure we exceed their expectations, effectively addressing concerns and issues
  • Develop call and email templates as well as update & refine presentations and organize events using tools such as Notion, Slack, Trello and SalesForce
  • Oversee the order process and order lifecycle B2C. Ensuring the communication and transparency of Freiraum orders between customers and partners
  • Come up with engaging marketing campaigns for brand building & awareness of our brands
  • Provide weekly reporting and daily activity updates via Google Sheets (and SalesForce)
  • Liaise within various teams within Freiraum, such as Product, Marketing and IT to achieve the best outcome for our brands
  • Drive change throughout the business through structured feedback, ensuring we always provide brands with the best possible experience across all aspects of Freiraum

Your Profile

  • 2+ years of experience within the fashion and lifestyle space (sales is not a must!)
  • Glowing passion for independent labels in the fashion and lifestyle space
  • Strong communication and listening skills with an excellent telephone manner and passion for delighting customers
  • You speak fluent German and fluent business English. Other European languages are a plus
  • Strong business acumen and a real thirst to acquire new brands with the goal to help them do what they do best: create!
  • Exceptional time management, organisational and multitasking skills
  • Hands-on mentality, thriving in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Be proactive, motivated and metrics-driven
  • Flexible and focussed on solutions
  • Organized and self-sufficient
  • Advantage: Proven sales track record
  • Advantage: Prior knowledge of Salesforce, Excel and Google Sheets
  • Advantage: Proven customer relationship management experience
