CTO (Chief Technology Officer)

We’re a Barcelona-based startup and the 1st City Live Map, a platform to know what is happening in the cities, in real-time. With events at the core of the business, Sharify is able to answer "what is happening right now in cities".

As the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) at Sharify, you will influence the strategic vision of the company, lead its technical future, and drive continued growth. The CTO will lead all technical strategy and operations for the company, with a key focus on scaling the company, being a key cross-functional strategic partner, delivering the operational infrastructure to support a hyper growth organization. To that end, the CTO will successfully balance the demands of a fast-growing consumer tech, while at the same time continually innovating the underlying technology and infrastructure. You’ll work with iOS, Android and Full-Stack developers to understand the inside-out of the app and find out how to improve performance at build-time and ensure high-confidence deployments.

Your role:

• All day-to-day tech operations including all aspects of mobile development, cloud and AI, owning the entire engineering process.
• Lead the engineering team at Sharify with a visionary outlook for the company's future.
• An acute passion for customer-centric development across the tech lifecycle, from modeling, to development and delivery, ensuring that customer and consumer voice is integrated seamlessly throughout the current and future tech supporting the product and customer needs.
• Use data to understand the availability and reliability of our infrastructure
• Make a positive impact on our culture

The requirements:

• 5+ years of technology and project management experience working with a digital agency or a software product company
• Must be able to manage small development teams across different programming disciplines and technology solutions including cloud, mobile, and AI
• Experience establishing technology operations and developing technology standards for all project teams
• Ability to steer multiple software products simultaneously
• Previous experience in Mobile Development (Swift+Kotlin) and Backend Development (AWS, Firebase), is a plus
• Previous experience as a founder or entrepreneur, is a plus
