Enterprise Software Architect - Digital Health Platform

We are seeking a passioniate, driven team leader. We are open to in office/remote hybrid and remote employees to help advance our various healthcare products.

The Perigon Health team needs our next self-starting leader to help build an incredible Pharmacy Software Technology, Mobile App and a IOT at home countertop Medical Device for patient of all ages to better manage their medication. We need your help to build a scalable health technology that will be used by thousands, maybe even your very own family and friends.

We are building the first of its kind remote patient monitoring technology platform for improved medical adherence outcomes utilizing IOT medical devices and pharmaceutical drugs.

Responsibilities

• Architect, lead design and manage development activities of distributed and multi-layer platform and services using best software development practices and technics. This may include mobile and web frameworks, SDKs, APIs, Cloud platforms, firmware, digital signal processing, data processing, mathematical modeling and machine learning.
• Continuously improve software development process and drive a strong software development culture within the team members.
• • Architect new applications and expand existing code based in collaboration with our other Senior Director of Engineering.
• As a key technical contributor, you will document via Confluence, research and review design specifications in coordination with team stackholders, outside healthcare professionals, and lead developers using broad software engineering concepts in digital technologies, including IoT, cloud and SaaS for patient information manged with HIPPA best practices • Ability to lead our Backend & Frontend and user experience technology (web based, mobile app, backend data base architectures, and AWS Dev Ops infrastructure) • Ability to design, estimate, code new features, review pull request, and merge releases

Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of JavaScript, backend/frontend engineering and data architectures and cloud development.
• 5+ years leading a group of software engineers - 5-20 team size
• 5+ years experience with HTML/CSS
• 5+ years with packaging and deploy frameworks such as webpack, bable, etc.
• 5+ years demonstrable full-stack engineering experience
• Experience with PHP a plus to transit code base
• Extensive experience designing and implementing software solutions
• Jira, GitHub and Project Management knowledge and scrum master experience
• Ability to refactor existing code
• Experience with IOS, Android and web based applications
• Experience with AWS dev ops infrastructure best practices and Cloud based tools
• Experience with AWS services, IOT core, Amazon Alexa, etc.
