The Role

About Levitate Foundry:
We’re a marketing agency and we’re growing fast! Last year we had 10 employees and we’ve since doubled (and plan on doubling every year). Conversion Rate Optimization is a new growth markerting service we’re hoping to grow and we’re looking for the right fit to join us and help do so! Our agency offers most growth services (SEM, Social, Performance Creative, etc.) to our clients who range from DTC startups to more established ecommerce brands. We’re based in Austin, TX where we are beginning to grow but you’ll find a lot of our current employees are remote.

Description:
While we’d love to find a CRO specialist (please apply if you are one!), we understand it’s a difficult position to come by. Therefore, we’re looking for a quick learner who is highly motivated to pick up new skills and try something new and exciting. Since this role is client facing, we’d like the candidate to have client facing experience and feel comfortable with the marketing funnel and analyzing data through prior growth marketing experience. See more of the specific responsibilities below:

What is Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO for short)?:
Conversion rate optimization (CRO) is the practice of increasing the percentage of users who perform a desired action on a website (typically transactions). We get to analyze data and come up with creative data-driven solutions for our clients. These strategies come to life after working with our designers and developers, allowing us to test our hypotheses in testing tools like Google Optimize. Through testing we can quantify our impact and see the conversion rate lift as well as find valuable user insight that we apply to future test or help inform other strategies. CRO is becoming essential to improve on existing channels and client's current site experience. We encourage you to learn more about CRO here.

Responsibilities:

  • Build Testing Roadmaps with a list of prioritized on-site and/or off-site tests based on hypothesis.
  • Work closely with our designers to design your landing page or on-site pages/components and be able to provide feedback and communicate client revisions.
  • Work closely with our developers to execute on building the test pages. Technical knowledge about utm parameters, site hosting, and tracking scripts is a plus.
  • Experience with writing tickets in Jira, Asana, or Notion or another project management tool and working with developers to bring eCommerce sites to life.
  • QA pages to the design specifications and expected functionality.
  • Manage A/B Tests on Google Optimize aimed at increasing the client's conversion rate (or other testing tools like VWO or Optimizely).
  • Monitoring and tracking the success of all tests and changes made, so that we're always moving one step ahead.
  • Report on success metrics to give the client and any additional paid growth service visibility into test performance tests and regularly express findings and insights to stakeholders.

About You:

  • You are hungry to learn about conversion rate optimization, or have been in a client facing growth role and/or hybrid CRO role in the past.
  • You love A/B testing and digging into data to understand behavior of each variant. You love storytelling, taking the things that consumers say and don’t say and weaving them into the purchase consideration funnel.
  • While you are deeply empathetic to the needs of our clients you know when to push back and give our colleagues reasonable time to execute on deliverables.
  • You love working cross functionally and developing deep, dynamic relationships built on trust.
  • You’re enthusiastic about learning/using new online tools.
  • You make sound decisions from a belief in yourself, others, and opportunities found based on data. You bring others along on your decision-making journey and gain buy-in and support.
  • You communicate needs, concerns, and feedback directly with colleagues. You take constructive feedback well and actively seek feedback from colleagues.
  • You have a growth mindset.
  • You are self-motivated to generate your best work and make a greater impact every day.
  • You are comfortable being your authentic self at work (including in the interview!).

Requirements:

  • Stellar communication skills and able to synthesize complex information in a consumable fashion
  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, particularly in managing designers and developers, writing tickets, and creating and executing CRO testing strategies
  • Thorough understanding of marketing funnel, channels, and expected audience segment behavior
  • Testing experience with proven results
  • BA/BS/Recognized Bootcamp or equivalent
  • Google Optimize/VWO or other site AB testing software experience
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and custom reports
  • Google Tag expertise a plus (GA, GO, GTM)
  • HTML + CSS a plus

Why Levitate Foundry:

  • We’re a fast growing company. You’ll have first hand opinions in helping sculpt our startup into a place you’re proud to work for. Feedback is well received and we’re more nimble to put ideas into action.
  • Yearly bonuses
  • Medical coverage
  • Vision coverage
  • Dental coverage
