Nordetect is on a mission to improve the way chemicals are used in the food chain. We are an analytical technology company that produces Lab-on-a-chip devices for environmental and agricultural analysis. With our products, farm managers, agricultural service providers, and indoor growers can remove risk and use valid data that is easy to understand and implement to ensure richer harvests.
The Position:
We are looking for an International Sales Manager in North America to drive sales within the Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) segment of the market. This is an active sales role encompassing all stages of the pipeline from prospecting, to demoing, and closing deals. We're looking for a B2B sales professional that has a network within the CEA market in the US. This is a remote position that reports to management in Denmark.
You are responsible for:
Identifying new opportunities through market research, inbound leads, and your own network
- Performing customer discovery activities to understand pain points
- Fostering relationships with clients by providing support, guidance, recommending new opportunities
- Taking ownership of maintaining and growing the sales funnel using Hubspot and other CRM tools
- Demonstrating the product to clients online and on-site
- Collaborating with the technical teams to identify new features and validating solutions with clients
- Staying updated with the agricultural testing market, especially CEA with respect to competition and trends
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of B2B Sales experience with a Bachelor's Degree and experience with SaaS business models.
- Experience building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- A positive attitude and professional behavior while advocating a team approach to the business.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organization skills.
- Ability to work effectively and meet objectives without day-to-day direction
- Able to travel as needed to meet prospective clients.
- Proficiency with Hubspot (CRM) and Office tools (DOC/PPT/XLS) both desktop and cloud-based.
As a person, you are energetic and take initiative to get things done. Your work is structured and you are able to manage priorities and maintain timelines for multiple activities.
You work well independently and are comfortable with remote work and travel, see yourself as a team player with the motivation to work within a fast-paced, interdisciplinary and dynamic environment.
