The Role

We are building our core revenue engineering team right now, so this is a high impact and high ownership opportunity. If you’re talented on product marketing / sales engineering, interested in solving real-world problems and building an amazing business, we may be the perfect place for you to come and do the best work of your life. You’ll be working with the CEO and this is what you'll be doing:

  • Shape out GTM Strategy
  • Take overall responsibility for Shipmnts's marketing and communications
  • Develop and execute inbound sales strategy to generate new leads
  • Develop opportunity qualification framework to qualify leads into active sales pipeline ( identifying companies matching our ideal customer profile )
  • Design and implement online and offline campaigns to convert ideal targets into loyal customers
  • Own the Shipmnts blog and website. Experiment content marketing, landing pages and SEO/SEM to gain better conversion
  • Prepare value based sales pitch deck along with product team to engage qualified leads
  • Prepare detailed pain point and value based customer profile for qualified leads
  • Organise product demos with decision makers and final buyers around their major pain points and values to be delivered
  • Pitch new add ons being launched to existing customer and close additional revenue
  • Build our events marketing to establish Shipmnts as the leading player in tech-enabled global trade and logistics
  • Build lasting relationships with journalists and industry analysts to build our reputation for thought leadership
  • Develop metrics to monitor, track and optimise engagement across multiple channels - aid in identifying the most relevant traction channel for us

What you'll need:

  • Track record of successful lead generation at B2B SaaS companies
  • Deep domain expertise in online and offline lead generation and performance marketing, with a growth hacker’s mindset.
  • Solid understanding of product marketing, brand marketing, media relations, content marketing, and thought leadership.
  • The intellectual horsepower and curiosity to learn a new way of operating in an old industry
  • A mastery in communication - writing email copies, building pitch decks Experience in a fast-paced work environment and a bias for action
  • Bachelors Degree from a top-tier institution; MBA is a bonus.
