Back-End Engineer (Newport Beach or Remote)

PropBidder (www.propbidder.com) is a rapidly growing real estate technology startup, providing real estate agents and realtors with web-based software in order to plan, manage, and participate in a variety of online bidding and offer processes. Through PropBidder's online marketplace for homes and condos, agents and realtors can carry out offer and sales processes with far greater speed and less back-and-forth among their sellers, buyers, and buyers agents.

We are looking to bring on a Back-End Engineer in order to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve backend systems and infrastructure. We are based in Newport Beach, and are open to candidates joining us locally or remotely.

Key Requirements/Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of web development and back-end systems.
• Must be proficient with MySQL, Git, AWS, and APIs, as well as have experience with the following programming languages: HTML, CSS, Java, PHP, C/C++, Python, Ruby, and SQL.
• Highly skilled with databases, web development, servers, deployment, and APIs (both REST and SOAP).
• Familiarity with the whole web stack, including programming languages, frameworks, and developer tools.
• You are highly motivated, can manage projects and deadlines effectively, and are also both creative and proactive.
• Real estate technology and residential brokerage experience preferred, but not required. Passion for the real estate sector, however, is required.

Compensation:
Salary: $100K-$150K
Bonus: $40K-$80K
Equity: Negotiable
