About us
Running low on your smartphone battery is a common threat of your every day’s life. YOOLOX changes that: We offer Interactive Wireless Charging for public spaces where people can recharge their devices and operators of these spaces can interact with their guests. Having secured our seed funding, we are now looking to bring YOOLOX to the next level. We are looking for a Software Engineer Backend / Frontend to join the team and take on the challenge of scaling our product.

About the role
We’re looking for an exceptional software engineer who can get things done. Working closely with the existing team, you’ll be iterating rapidly to deliver the core features of a new product to our customers.

A sample of some of the things in our backlog that you will work on:
• Building out the YOOLOX dashboard to delight users with a simple and clean design.
• Helping to develop the product in a way that customer will have real added value.

Requirements
This is the right opportunity for you if you have:
• 1+ years commercial software development experience and preferably some higher education (university degree)
• Experience building UIs that surprise and delight users
• Experience with SQL databases, Core UI Interface Framework, Laravel PHP framework
• Experience with software development via distributed development teams
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• EU/UK citizenship or a pre-existing right to work in the EU/UK
