As CTO of Treatmind (MySkills App, myskills.app) you will be part of the core team and responsible for the technical development. You will also be involved in the shaping of business processes and building the team. Based on the existing knowledge and existing product, you will expand the technological development, which will be future-oriented to meet the increasing user and regulatory requirements. Your goal will be to establish the company and the product successfully in the market and embed them in a trendsetting way.

About the MySkills App:
The MySkills App accompanies people with borderline personality disorder in their daily lives and every phase of therapy. MySkills supports those affected in reducing their symptoms and learning how to deal with severe mental crises. As a medical device, MySkills contributes to sustainable therapeutic success and sets high standards for content, functionality, and safety.

Your responsibilities:

• As CTO, you drive the company's vision, are responsible for the strategic and technical direction of the products, constantly develop the technology and ensure smooth operations.
• You convince investors of our business idea and its implementation and represent the company's interests together with the management.
• You will be responsible for building an internal IT team, developing external IT resources, and playing a pivotal role in shaping the vision and culture within the team.
• Together with your team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, testing, and expanding the MySkills app in Flutter, helping people deal with their problems more efficiently.
• You work together in an agile team consisting of developers, UX/UI designers, therapists, clinical researchers.
• You are a know-how bearer and pioneer for important decisions around technology, architecture, and implementation.
• You bring in and evaluate new technology opportunities to develop cutting-edge products.
• You quench your thirst for knowledge in a focused way, raising your skills to a new level and sharing them with others.
• You develop methods to use sensor data and machine learning optimally.
• You support the development and assurance of a QM system and risk management for a CE certification.

Your qualifications:

• You have a degree in a technical field (Bachelor/Master or Diploma).
• You have practical experience in mobile app development and in-depth knowledge in modern software development processes, software architecture, cloud architecture, and quality assurance.
• You have the willingness and ability to write productive code.
• You are a passionate founder and are on fire for building a tech startup.
• You have at least 4 years of professional experience in IT and software development.
• You bring first leadership experience in agile management of teams.
• You have a high level of assertiveness and perseverance and follow a solution-oriented approach.
• You are fluent in German and English
• A plus if you already have experience in one or more of the following areas: early stage startup, flutter, machine learning, medical device certification/quality management
