A key hire in the marketing and commerical team, we're looking for an ambitious & highly intelligent person to come and make an impact on the growth engine at Airbyte. About Airbyte 📣
Airbyte was founded in 2014 as a mobile product studio, it was then relaunched under a new direction in 2020. Mobile development remains at the businesses core, however, in 2021 Airbyte has a broadened startup focused offering of Research, Design, Development and Marketing.
James (CEO) & Luke (Head of Product) co-founded the relaunch in 2020 with a wealth of experience in growth and project delivery and have grown Airbyte exponentially over the past year and are now looking for a full-time growth manager to join the duo. This will be the first hire of a high growth target in revenue and internal intelligence.
The correct candidate will be able to align to a hands off approach and work alongside the co-founding team to deliver on projects. This is a remote role with Airbyte signing flexible work space in central london in summer/autumn ‘21.
As we are a digital product studio we bring on multiple clients per year so you have the option to work on a wide variety of projects throughout the year. As we are a young company we are keeping our budgets lean for hiring, however, if you show us your value then you will grow with us as one of the first hires we make in the growth team.

Responsibilities 📈
- Take the lead on client relations and delivery for marketing clients.
- Build and optimising multiple PPC campaigns with ROI always front of mind.
- Generate new business and receive bonuses on any new business created.
- Leading our growth experiments, constantly testing new channels and tactics to improve traffic and conversion rates across the board.
- Analyse and track campaign performance, refining CPA and ROI, and be able to share findings quickly and effectively as well as building on these learning
- Create and implement SEO plan including recommended changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Produce and manage content and inbound marketing plan to increase traffic, leads and educate users to help them with their buying decisions. -Working closely with the founder to Identify new opportunities for market and revenue growth and present learnings
- Report efficiently on campaign performance, ROI, customer buying behaviour and other core metrics, constantly managing acquisition and retention channels for further growth
What we are looking for: 👀
- A creative, data driven, methodical individual, with a proactive can-do attitude ideally interested in entrepreneurship and with startup experience, agency business model experience a bonus
- An individual who is entrepreueniral minded
- 2+ years digital marketing and startup experience including managing budgets of over £5k/ month (or some incredible talent with the hunger to grow very fast!)
- Experience in setting, executing and managing against core metrics with the ability to deliver projects to strict deadlines
- Track record of executing startup growth projects
- Proven SEO & PPC experience
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience with tools including Google Analytics, Adwords, Google Tag Manager, Mailchimp.
- A self motivated individual happy to ‘muck in’ with everything that needs doing in a startup.

The Interview Process 👥
We don’t use algorithm puzzles in the hiring process. After a phone interview, you’ll get a short take home test directly related to the work we do everyday. After that, you’ll take a final interview with the two co-founders.
For the first stage you will speak to James (CEO) and this will be an informal chat about your ambitions and best working environments.
The second and final part will be to present your technical task to James.
