The Role

What We Do

BidHuddle is an online marketplace that allows homeowners seeking home improvement estimates to be compensated during the initial quoting process from local professionals bidding for the right to connect with them for the opportunity to meet and discuss their project. Think Thumbtack but with cash rewards to homeowners for using our platform.

How We Started

Current online platforms, Home Advisor, Thumbtack, Houzz, etc. facilitate connections between homeowners and contractors. Customer data and project details are the product these platforms utilize as inventory they are selling to contractors and receive this product free of charge at the expense of homeowners.

BidHuddle was launched to be a transparent, seamless, and beneficial way to connect homeowners with local professionals willing to direct their marketing dollars directly to potential customers for the opportunity to meet face to face. Homeowners receive a portion of fees collected on BidHuddle as a reward for providing their project as the inventory for our platform, and Pros can essentially window shop for work in their neighborhood prior to spending marketing dollars that many times do not work as they hope.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a platform that facilitates transparency for both homeowners and pros alike while current platforms often lean towards misleading each party to utilize their service through misrepresented marketing tricks.

Created by a founder who has spent millions in advertising on traditional lead platforms, we believe we are evolving a smarter solution thus allowing more detailed project information to contractors and allowing them to directly determine if a customer is a correct fit. This also allows contractors to directly focus on exact types of projects and which specific areas they want to utilize marketing dollars towards offering greater certainty.

We will do this by building an authentic community-driven marketplace where contractors can browse visual projects and determine prior to investing a single ad dollar into growing their business. Think eBay for home related service projects. We will provide a simple platform for homeowners to quickly market their project to potential pros who are local and willing to pay for the opportunity to sit down face-to-face and discuss the project.

Our current focus is on medium to larger size ticket remodeling projects (Windows, Siding, Roofing,

Etc.) but we will incrementally expand the platform to include all kinds of home service-related projects for homeowners to receive rewards for posting within the BidHuddle marketplace.

Helping owners earn cash rewards from posting their project within BidHuddle softens the dreaded quoting process for them that so many people do not enjoy while solving many of the current issue’s contractors face while trying to connect, meet, and win a customer’s business. We envision a world in which contractors of any size and any location are comfortable with investing ad dollars into growing their business without fear of lost profits or potentially participating in advertising methods that may not work. A platform with a feed of potential jobs that service professionals can browse anytime and anywhere and connect with homeowners with the tap of a button -from their kitchen table, beach, or office.

Where We Are Now

BidHuddle is an early-stage start-up which will be largely driven by customer love, word-of-mouth and aggressive online marketing campaigns. Our initial focus will be geared towards SW Florida and to expand throughout Florida and into additional markets within 6-12 months.
