This vision is expressed in two broader service offerings. First, securitization of innovative and special assets in order to make them accessible for investing. Second and closely related, a digital platform for distribution, brokerage and related services aimed at investors directly as well as different kind of business customers.

We implement our services in partnership with a broad array of affiliates, including banks, asset managers, VCs and securitization experts.

Position & Our Offer

We are now looking for an experienced Junior Associate for Business Development and Operations, to support the development of our portfolio of innovative financial products and services around alternative assets and help introduce and standardize processes.

Jointly with the founding team, you will get to support the design and development of innovative financial products, such as Actively Managed Certificates, and services, such as crypto brokerage. In this role, you will also contribute to the development of the forthcoming Digital Wave digital marketplace for alternative assets. Over time, you will get the chance to develop this role beyond its original scope up until a more senior position (based on qualifications and performance).

Role & virtues

The ideal candidate is an ambitious student in the field of financial services or business administration, preferably with first professional experience:

Support the implementation of product strategies
Standardize and optimize the financial product development processes, from ideation to market together with the founding team
Coordinate with the tech team that develops the underlying IT infrastructure for Digital Waves’ platform.
Work effectively in a remote, dynamic, multi-cultural and team-oriented environment
Work across multiple time zones with a globally distributed team.
Generate innovative ideas with high attention to detail and exceptional collaboration skills.

Requirements

Postgrad student in financial services, business administration or related field – preferably with relevant working experience
Interest in financial and fintech industry, with a passion for financial products.
Hands-on project manager driven by delivering results in a startup environment.
Fluent in English, fluent German a big plus
Willingness to go the extra mile.

Working time, compensation & working Environment

We look for a junior associate who is available between 15 and 25 hours per week. We offer competitive remuneration. The salary depends on the agreed scope of work and qualifications of the candidate.
