IT Data Architect

The IT Architect develops architecture and solution design to meet business requirements. This position works as part of an Agile DataOps team to design and develop data methodologies, processes and best practices within AWS. This IT Architect will serve as an enterprise data architect to develop, POC and implement data architecture that supports varying data consumer needs and promotes access to data via self-serve and approved technologies and toolsets. This role works across IT to understand current data state, develops plan and architecture to move from current state to cloud native data architecture, taking into account IT Foundations to move to Agile development and microservices, as examples. ETS has a long list of siloed data, along with new external data sources that will require this role to continuously update and implement data services to meet needs across ETS’s data consumers and products.
