We are seeking hiring for a leadership role in our Web Design & Development Team. This new role is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company and create your own success and growth within Digital Space Marketing. We are looking for a Website Account Manager with experience working on a team and who enjoys managing multiple projects at once.

The Website Account Manager will oversee and manage multiple website builds and maintenance including updating website content, including information, images, graphics, etc and developing a search engine optimization strategy for each website. This position will also include building client relationships, development, and maintenance.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Website design & redesign

  • Perform and develop website audits, keyword research, sitemaps/structure
  • Develop website content plan/design direction and collaborate with developers and designers to give clear direction
  • Test and deploy websites
  • Meet directly with clients
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
  • Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
  • Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success Website systems and processes
  • Continuously improve client experience by deploying new/upgraded systems and processes.

Website maintenance

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain websites daily, and plan and execute updates and upgrades as necessary.
  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and outdated information.
  • Conduct regular test plans to ensure website quality and efficiency.
  • Improve the user experience of the websites continually.
  • Publish blog posts/Adding new pages on existing websites
  • Create appropriate website pages, including visuals, and functionalities (such as new navigational elements and online forms), that enhance the appearance and utility of the websites in furtherance of clients’ strategic priorities.
  • Protect the websites by ensuring that appropriate security measures are enabled and identify and respond to all website security breaches
  • Establish and monitor KPIs of website activity and performance and engage in data-driven decision-making to effect improvements.
  • Keep current with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites.

Marketing

  • Develop and execute web strategy and tactics that align with an overarching integrated marketing plan designed to further each client’s goals.
  • Create goals and implement strategies to grow clients’ websites month over month through search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues in the development, execution, and assessment of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with the social media manager to ensure seamless integration of client’s websites and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the websites comport with clients' brand standards.
  • Ensure that the websites fully comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with vendors that may be engaged periodically to perform web-related services needed to maintain or improve client’s online presence.
  • Apprise business line leaders of ongoing website performance and progress against goals and objectives through regular reporting.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills/ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
  • Understanding of front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Good understanding of content management systems, especially Wordpress, Shopify, and Squarespace.
  • Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Excellent visual design skills (Awareness of UI/UX principles)
  • Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
  • Creative and open to new ideas.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and get/give feedback
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
  • Specifically for Google Sheets: Understanding of basic formulas and logic
  • Email marketing experience a plus
