In a Chups Cloud Kitchen, our partners will now be able to prepare group orders conveniently near their customers and drop off the orders in the vicinity of each customer’s respective neighborhoods for a seamless regional expansion of the restaurants.

About the Role:
We are creating a seamless next-generation food delivery experience to serve both customers and restaurants. You will have a unique opportunity to advance our product roadmap, and act as a key partner to the larger technical, leadership, design, and product teams to deliver major features. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement significant upgrades to this market-disrupting Foodtech Platform.

What You Will Own:

• Full SDLC: design, develop, test, fix bugs, and support new features for B2C and B2B experience, eCommerce site
• Directly manage, coach, and hire a team of software engineers.
• Designing and developing integrations between commerce, middleware, payment gateways, content management systems, and other third-party APIs.
• Manage implementation partner deliverables, estimates, performing code reviews and oversee production deployments
• Actively assist in improving the usability, quality, security, scalability, stability, and functionality of customized systems
• AWS deployments and configuration management
• Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects
• Troubleshooting and optimization of existing application code and web server configurations

What You Will Bring:

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a software developer (ideally for an eCommerce site)
• Real-world e-commerce experience with recent experience in eCommerce platforms like Commerce Tools, Magento, or similar with a focus on headless API implementations.
• Strong comprehension of back-end (Java/Python/PHP) with object-oriented programming and MVC applications.
• Experience in AWS cloud hosting, microservices, and serverless development.
• Experience in DynamoDB, MongoDB, and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached.
• Experience with developing and integrating with APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Track record of leading complicated features, bug fixes, and integrations with limited guidance
• Knowledge in JavaScript development (e.g. jQuery, React, Node.js, Graphql.js)
• Knowledge in automated CD/CI deployment strategies.
• Love for a well-documented codebase
