Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategize the most optimal way to complete job, i.e. creating and implementing a project plan
• Develop project plans with deliverables and milestones, costs, assigned resources, and schedules and lead project management and execution to meet or exceed project objectives
• Review projects status with Project Engineers.
• Responsible for profit and loss management
• Communicate and coordinate with clients and FSMs on job scope and report on progress on a regular basis
• Conduct regular On-site Status Project Review appropriately to provide quality assurance and technical support to client and our Technician
• Inquire about and document drawing numbers with revision dates of any changes or job additions/deletions to facilitate the amendments for the final documents of record
• Provide Sales Department with any changes through RFP and record on commissioning progress report log
• Conduct NYFD pre-test inspection
• Identify code issues and non-conformance issues, and make recommendations on alternative solutions to client/office
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and communicate any problem encountered or identified with the alarm system on work order
• Work on small to medium design build, and prime projects
• Collaborate with Salesperson on site walk-through and/or takeoffs to help price jobs optimally

• Manage and maintain smooth working relationships with contractors, clients, architects, 3rd party vendors, and engineers

  Required Education and Experience:

• Two-year Associate’s degree in Engineering or 4 years of project management experience in similar industry

• 2 years of fire alarm project management experience preferred
