The Role

Job Briefing
Petal is searching for a qualified and experienced Sales Account Executive to join our growing team in the On-Demand Delivery industry. The key responsibilities for this role will be to generate new business to business relationships and maintain existing relationships with our business partners within your assigned territory.
As a Sales Account Executive, you should work to satisfy business customers’ needs and requests, respond to business customers’ queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive experience. You should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as being customer service oriented.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Account Executive or similar,
  • Hands on experience in business to business sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer service,
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Google Suite products (Docs, Sheets, Gmail),
  • An understanding of sales performance metrics,
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills,
  • An ability to deliver results and answer inquiries on time,
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving mindset,
  • BSc degree in Business Administration or marketing; job experience accepted in lieu of educational experience,
  • A technical mindset and ability to troubleshoot over the phone with technical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Develop positive relationships with business partners
  • Act as the point of contact and handle partners individual needs
  • Generate new business using existing and potential sales pipes
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customer in a timely manner
  • Report monthly status of accounts and transactions
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth or improvement.
