Software Engineers in our Digital Organization will create the leading digital experience for our customers, enabling them to maximize value and convenience, by offering integrated year-round solutions, insights, and commerce! You will have a range of responsibilities from shaping and implementing strategic products, to ensuring that our 500,000 farmer grower customers stay on the leading edge of technology!

What you will do:

  • Build React front ends and Node.js back ends with up to 90% of your time coding
  • Contribute to the overall technical architecture of the product
  • Participate in code reviews and pair programming
  • Work with other team members to align to the agronomic-year roadmap through agile and scrum best practices
  • Collaborate on a product that furthers sustainable agricultural development across the world
  • Little to no travel

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline or graduate from a top boot camp program
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Required Skills:
  • Front-end: JS, CSS, React, React-Native, GraphQL, experience working with RESTful apis, Jest
  • Back-end: Node, Python, experience with microservices, experience with working with AWS, experience with GraphQL api design patterns
  • General understanding: TDD/BDD, git, continuous integration platforms (AWS codebuild, drone.io)
  • Preferred Skills: Mobile (iOS and Android), TypeScript, client-side mapping library experience
  • Experience working on projects that span multiple organizations and business units

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $72,450 - $103,500. This range is estimated for the Software Engineer position in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan, which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
