CG Generalist/Animator

Job Description

Harvest.xyz is looking for early members of a fledgling community that have a "full stack" approach to solving visual story telling problems and shipping short form animation content for variety of social media and "metaverse" platforms including YouTube/shorts, Roblox, TikTok

To be clear

This is an invitation to join a community of animators and visual storytellers interested in building their own creator brands by producing short form videos using insights provided by both the community as well assoftware tools to accelerate their success on any video platform, existing or emerging.

The salary listed below is because AngelList unforunately does not give us the option to list more general community opportunities, however from our own experience, we have seen creators earn this much and more after investing in their channels, and this is the success that we aim to accelerate for the artists we work with!

You are (ideally)

• Entrepreneurial first, at least interested and engaged in building your own, and shared, entertainment brands with direct audience engagement
• a "go-getter", able to hack your way through visual and technical problems
• interested in telling visual stories and able to think through scope of a story
• Interested in social media outlets like YouTube, TikTok, Roblox and how their respective formats foster new story telling opportunities
• capable of navigating the full stack of CG visual story telling, including modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting/rendering
  • Note : you do not need to be a specialist in any or all of these!

Nice to have

• an existing social media presence on twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Roblox, snapchat
• experience creating CG experiences (AR filters, video games, social media videos)
