About Wildkard
Wildkard is a social engagement platform for youth sports teams. In an era of ubiquitous connection, 91% of sports teams struggle to engage beyond game-time. Wildkard empowers coaches to reinvent social engagement for their program while eliminating tedious administrative work. Our self-service product combines simple features to organize and chat with teams, compete in virtual challenges, share videos, explore game reports, and compare athlete profiles. We're driven by a single mission - to deliver an engaging sports experience to 1 billion athletes and their communities worldwide. Our purpose is to use social engagement to boost athlete participation rates because active kids and their communities do better in life.
Wildkard is co-founded by engineering leaders at Amazon and Google, and backed by executives at PayPal, Instagram, Airbnb, Strava, and NBA athletes.

- You are passionate about sports and want to make an impact in the community.
- You love building products that delight a cross-generational user base.
- You love learning in a team environment, and bring a new set of experiences and perspectives.
As a Founding Mobile Engineer, you are involved in every step of the process, from early ideation to working with customers to ensure the final product meets the highest quality bar. We’re looking for someone who is excited about building products that will serve millions of users. - Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
- Demonstrated empathy for the people using your software products.
- Openness to experiment with approaches, and quickly discard ones that don’t work.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and open-ended problems.
- Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design.
