Full Stack Engineer

Hooked is an extremely exciting tech startup based in Los Angeles in the food service industry. We’ve recently launched a new platform called Stream - Our goal is to help restaurants maximize their full potential by providing a full suite of tools to manage their menu, publish to delivery services, and integrate incoming orders directly into their point of sales service. If you’ve ever looked behind the cash register and seen a mess of tablets from Postmates, Doordash, Uber Eats and others, you’ll see the type of problem we’re solving!

Job Overview:
We’re looking for a self-driven, go-getter who’s ready to jump into the startup grind and help us build a world-class service. As a full stack engineer, you’ll be working on both the frontend (web) and backend API to help us bring our product to fruition. On the frontend, you’ll be building our web app (desktop and mobile) from the ground up. This includes building a responsive web app that handles our onboarding (Oauth), menu management, delivery services, analytics, and more. On the backend, you will be writing the API for our app, and connecting with a myriad of 3rd party services including Postmates, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Square, Clover, and many, many more.

Qualifications / Requirements:
At least 2-3 years of experience with web development
Expert level knowledge of javascript
1-2 Years experience with react.js
Experience building responsive web applications
Experience building and integrating with REST APIs
Some experience with node.js
Attention to UI/UX detail
High collaboration and communication
A great team player, with a can-do attitude, and who’s ready to work HARD and crush it!
