We're looking for a creative, organized Social Media Manager to help us develop and execute a new social media strategy to bring our pioneering, new products to a community of fans across design, tech, lifestyle and more.

This is an in-house role so you'll have the opportunity to really own social media and grow across: content planning, community management, customer engagement, copywriting, social analytics, events, and influencer marketing.

Youll be reporting into the Head of Content who acts a content hub, overseeing the overall content strategy with the aim of enabling and empowering, rather than acting as ’social media police’ - so whilst you’ll be working together and supporting each other, the social strategy, calendar and social community side of things will be your baby.
We have just launched a new print on demand service called PrintShop under the Designhill brand and we are looking for someone who gets stuck in and gets stuff done. No two days will be the same so there will be a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
Social Media Management Expanding on our content strategy to devise a new social media strategy for 2020. Creating and curating social media posts and scheduling of social media content (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest) alongside an ongoing strategy for community growth and engagement
Content Creation - Help develop and ideate new social media formats and content ideas. Create, curate and repurpose existing content that can be used across our channels. We’d love if you could contribute to the company blog and newsletter too!
Social media copywriting - Excellent writing skills and creative flair across copy, imagery and GIF selection.
Community management - One of the main objectives is to cultivate trust and connection with our social media community so generating engagement, asking questions/polls/quizzes and staying on top of replies is an important part of the role.
Analytics and Insights - Track and report on performance, and continually optimise strategy and delivery.
Influencer Marketing - Assist the head of content in building a network of tastemakers, creatives, entrepreneurs and founders with interesting stories to share.
Requirements
Preferably 6-8 years in Digital Marketing Agency and 3-4 years of working experience with startups
A strong editorial sense and an understanding of what content works on social
Strong written communication and accuracy Experience in building and engaging existing communities as well as reaching out and attracting new ones
Naturally curious with a desire to constantly learn and improve
Confidence in presenting new ideas and strategies Experience of, or an interest in handling influencer relationships from research to outreach and gifting.
Good interest in, and knowledge of popular culture across lifestyle, beauty or fashion, arts, news, innovation and tech scene. you have their finger on the pulse and knows where to go to find influencers and trends.
Experience of using social media analytics to provide evaluation and ideas for solutions, new projects and the bigger picture
Nice to haves: Experience with graphic design tools and softwares for social media assets
