The Role

About Kokoon:

We are an award winning, venture capital backed, health and wellness start-up based in London. We have developed ergonomic headphones which utilise audio and sensing technology to tackle the most prevalent health and wellness challenge across the world. We completed London’s biggest ever Kickstarter, had a highly successful Crowdcube campaign, and are currently launching our new product into the market.

The Role:

We are looking for a Growth Manager to join our new sales and marketing team. This is a high impact role, in which you will work closely with the Head of Product Marketing to plan, execute, improve, and report on the company’s marketing initiatives.

In this role you will fully own and drive specific growth initiatives that have been identified by the team as high impact areas of growth for the next 6-12 months. These initiatives can range from onboarding influencers to generate and promote impactful sponsored content or even A/B testing a personalised email flow that converts better than existing email campaigns.

The fast paced, broad nature of the role means you will need to have a good width of knowledge of all areas of marketing. You will also need to be highly entrepreneurial, eager to jump-in and learn fast and be comfortable taking risks. Any relevant coaching and upskilling required to deliver specific initiatives will happen in real time as you work closely with the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Held accountable for the development, execution and performance of specific growth initiatives from our tactical marketing plan
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to problem solve issues with delivery of the specific growth initiatives
  • Support the launch of ad hoc marketing activities that will arise with the release of our new products
  • Oversee and manage allocated community management channels daily
  • Continuously seek new methods to lower our CPA and increase CLV
  • Be able to present and prioritise new ideas, in a systematic manner by objectively reviewing our tactical marketing plan
  • Attend business, marketing and partner meetings. Provide constant challenge to the team to make sure we are all reaching our goals

Essential skills:

  • Previous experience in a marketing or growth role is great, but not necessary. Ideally you will need to have a broad width of knowledge and understanding of all areas of marketing
  • You need to know how to roll out marketing initiatives for awareness generation, customer acquisition and customer retention. Using data and metrics (analysing and interpreting them) to drive performance and new initiatives
  • Working knowledge of some marketing tools you have used past. For example Google Analytics, Zendesk, Hotjar, etc
  • Keen interest in learning fast on the job. Each week you need to be able to quickly identify gaps in your knowledge base and use the team (and available free resources) to upskill yourself fast. (The team will support you in creating your own personal development plan!)
  • Being organised is important. There is a lot going on, and you will be held accountable for specific growth initiatives, so you need to be up for the challenge
  • Ideally you need to be an outgoing person. This role requires you working directly with a lot of people. You should be someone who enjoys speaking to the team, meeting new people and establishing relationships

Location:

Remote but nice fun office in central London when you want to mix it up
