Integrations Engineer

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for helping build the technical foundation of integration and interoperability between projects at Healthcare Intelligence Inc and EHR/EMR systems. You will help deliver cutting-edge, visionary software for proactive care to clinicians leveraging big data and predictive models along with deep integration to health care systems. We are looking for engineers who use sound engineering principles to build world-class products. This person will serve as a face of the most forward-looking technology group and partner with peers in engineering, product and design, data science and leadership on business and technical strategy.

Skill set needed and Responsibilities

• 3+ years of proven hands-on technical expertise with Healthcare Interoperability Standards including EDI, HL7, CDA and FHIR
• 5+ years as a Data or Integration Engineer
• Experience building integrations with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
• Familiarity with the execution and implementation of one or more FHIR Server(s) and FHIR API management
• You have created and implemented an enterprise microservices strategy
• You have influenced changes and system enhancements to business processes, policies, and infrastructure to deliver the most effective IT services
• Proficiency in cloud technologies and hands-on securing of AWS environments including detailed experience with AWS Organizations, VPC, Security Groups, CloudTrail, IAM etc)
• Ability to distill complex security threats and risks into simple terms for non-security (and even non-technical) stakeholders.
