The Role

The qualified candidate should process very strong knowledge in digital and analysis skills, but also written and verbal communications proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin is a plus) in order to assist Mandarin/Chinese speaking clients to effectively meet their needs, as well as being intuitive and creative within the Internet marketing field.

You should be confident with the ability to communicate effectively with clients to meet their needs, and leverage internal resources to achieve the assigned objectives and sustain the business development growth.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Drive new client acquisition for SEA markets
  2. Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, pitching via telecom & in-person meetings, being consultative in approach, negotiating contracts, closing deals and activating the business
  3. Maintain excellent relationships with Key Accounts Clients.
  4. Drive & consistently engage new business leads with cold calling / direct mail etc.
  5. Identify and understand trends within client markets and Industries
  6. Providing customers with valuable insights and offerings as part of an on-going, consultative relationship
  7. Partner with internal cross-functional team members to drive account growth to exceed quarterly targets
  8. Work collaboratively with clients and teammates to oversee active campaigns.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Communication, Marketing, Advertising or other relevant fields.
  2. 6 + years of working experience in sales with online media experience is an advantage.
  3. Digital media industry experience with direct client contacts is ESSENTIAL in travel, luxury, retail.
  4. Extensive experience establishing relationships with C-level executives and senior marketers.
  5. Ability to think out the box and create methods for implementation.
  6. Strong presentation and excellent organization skills.
  7. Self-Motivated, ambitious, disciplined work attitude with a positive “can-do” approach.
  8. Proficient in Chinese language (Simplified & Traditional) and English is a must.
  9. Excellent communication, problem-solving, maintain relationships and time management skills.
