Frontend Engineer

They are a Sillicon Valley based FinTech startup looking for great developers who want to jump in and take major systems and user-facing features from design to launch.

Main requirements

• Client-side software development in modern javascript frameworks (primarily in Angular)
• Excellent understanding of CSS/SCSS, HTML5
• Knowledge of Response Web Design and supporting frameworks (bootstrap)
• Exposure to and understanding of Service Workers, PWA architecture
• Experience designing SPAs that interact with REST API endpoints
• Through understanding of the differences and bugs in various browsers and browser versions
• Ability to analyze and improve performance and memory footprint
• Ability to make recommendations on UI design and UX best practices

Nice to have

• Identity Management protocols, OpenID Connect, OAuth and SSO
• Reactive Programming (Rx framework)
• Networking libraries (E.g Retrofit)
• Interacting with GRPC and GraphQL endpoints
• CI/CD for mobile and web applications
