Background:
We are building the digital OS for the food supply chain. That means powering payments and the system of record for the 20K+ distributors who sell to restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience stores.
We're a diverse group that is led by the team that took Uber Eats from a small experiment to a multi-billion dollar business.

Role:
- You'll build a pipeline of SMB and mid-market clients via cold outreach and networking
- You’ll demo Pepper’s technology and identify executive champions within a distributor’s organization
- You'll build enduring relationships with CEOs and executives at prospective clients, establish yourself as a resource to help them upgrade their digital capabilities and improve overall business outcomes -You’ll represent Pepper at trade shows and conferences
- You'll be ready to roll up your sleeves when there's an opportunity to add value, no matter how big or small the job... we're an agile, fast moving team and run hard at opportunities when we spot them
Must Haves:
- 4+ years experience in sales to SMB and Enterprise clients in tech company OR food distribution in the US
- Love winning with clients; enjoy spending time with customers and are genuinely curious about how to make their business a success
- High-energy, optimism, and a collaborative mindset, plus a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig into the tactical alongside the strategic
- Familiarity with CRM and other sales tools
- Continuous learner mentality - open to coaching and feedback
- Experience in an early growth stage startup environment
