Junior Android developer

Skills and Experience :

1. Good knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.

2. Solid understanding of mobile app development cycle.

3. Strong OO design and programming skills in Kotlin/Java and familiarity with Android SDK.

4. Knowledge on Kotlin is desired

5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

6. Experience with Mobile design patterns e.g MVVM, GoF, etc.

7. Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.

Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

1. Experience with mobile analytics.

Responsibilities:

1. Product workflow development that includes basic pen and paper wireframing.

2. Adhere to the agreed-upon delivery schedule

3. Utilizes source control, continuous integration, and unit testing best practices

4. Work cross-functionally to define and write code for the new feature

5. Proper testing, debugging - Ex: Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

6. Collaborate and brain boost with other team members to build world-class products

7. Integrating REST APIs.

8. Developing mobile applications.

9. Build reusable code and libraries.

10. Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.

11. Building documentation that will help us scale and build upcoming versions for the product. Ex: Workflow documentation, Database documentation, API documentation, Codebase documentation.

12. Learning and implementing cutting edge new technologies.
