Broad Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Understanding business visions, goals, and corporate objectives in relation to bringing in disruptive and one-of-its-kind web and mobile applications in education and other domains.
• Owning up product management functions including product ideation, product vision, product strategy formulation, tactical manoeuvre, product roadmap creation, work estimation and prioritization, product delivery, product maintenance, customer communication, market analysis, and product improvement.
• Owning up the entire system and solution architecture functions.
• Ownership of recruitment, induction, and engagement of the tech team.
• Owning up accountability for software development, testing, delivery, release, and maintenance role.
• Owning up project management – goals, milestones, sprints, team KPI, deadlines, and so on.
• CIO responsibilities: internal technology evangelist; advising on enterprise software, managing all security and integration issues, studying trending technologies and advising for changes.

Tasks

• Product management – user research, product development, product roadmap
• System and solution architecture – technology, tools, frameworks, product improvement
• Software Engineering – leading coding, testing, system and software maintenance, delivery and release, performance management functions
• People Management - people recruitment, induction, engagement, training, and mentoring – project management, task allocation, individual and team performance management
• Advocacy – communicating about the organisation’s success in bringing out disruptive products at online and offline forums, groups, associations, conferences, seminars, webinars, etc.; promoting the organisation’s achievements in technologies and products
