The Role

Brand Analyst will help determine Opticann’s position in the marketplace through data. Our Brand Analyst will study market conditions to examine potential sales of our new products. The Brand Analyst will help Opticann understand what products people want, who will buy them, and at what price.
The Brand Analyst will conduct competitive analysis including analyzing their prices, sales, and marketing methods. Using this information, they may determine potential markets, product demand, and pricing. Their knowledge of the targeted consumer enables them to develop advertising brochures and commercials, sales plans, and product promotions.
• Develop complex analytical frameworks to conduct analyses to solve critical business issues
• Collaborate with analytical resources internally and externally to assist with strategy initiatives
• Create and administer content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to build an audience and ensure customer engagement
• Prepare key strategy presentations for Opticann senior management and executives
• Proactively identify new areas of strategic interest and frame approach to tackle them
• Monitor and forecast marketing trends
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies
• Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls
• Gather data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions
• Analyze data using latest statistical software
• Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports. Create charts, graphs, infographics, and other visual aids to present the results of research
• Must be able to work autonomously in a collaborative and open team environment on high priority projects

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field required. Will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• Three or more years of quantitative marketing experience including analytics and content
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using various analytics software.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
