Software Engineer (Founding Team)

Plugd, a UAE headquartered (funded) startup founded by McKinsey alumni, is reinventing direct restaurant-to-customer experiences using technology to help restaurants win back customers and profits. We are helping restaurants survive getting disrupted by delivery/cloud kitchen business models (explained here https://youtu.be/YXQzMXS9tnA). We are looking for experienced, independent engineers to be part of our lean, high performing self-managed team.

-- Candidate Profile --

• Must-have deep expertise in fullstack Javascript development, preferably React/React Native, NodeJS
• Great computer science fundamentals and able to architect high performing, scaleable solutions
• Experienced hands-on coder (3-6 years experience) with excellent programming, problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Must have a good product sense love building cool products!
• Good requirement gathering and research skills
• Language agnostic: Code polygot able to take up any language and technology without pain
• Big plus: PHP, AWS, CI/CD, DevOps, IOS, Android
