Hybrid UI/UX Designer + Front-End Dev (Headless PWA Multisite Commerce Platform)

CONSORTIUM is a bleeding edge retail technology connecting specialtiy retailers and brands to connect in a way never seen before. Powering retailers to sell customizable and made-to-order goods at scale was just the beginning. CONSORTIUM can now manages the entire retail lifecycle of any dropship-capable brands from wholesale through to customer purchase, support, and beyond. Our technology sets retailers free from their inventory shackles and eliminates the capital they put to risk. Brands will sell-through more efficiently. Customers will find the goods they want and be able to purchase from the retailers they believe in.

As our Hybrid UI/UX Designer & Front-End Developer, you will be tasked with leading the design and development of our platform. We recently went through a major re-build with a great development agency. This position would take control of the product, develop it further on the front-end, and work with the agency to for back-end needs. From there, youmay be tasked with building out the in-house team. You will receive great feedback from our own team as well as our retail partners and will need to make changes on the fly. This is a critical position for our company and the right candidate would work into a Tech Lead or CTO role.

Our setup and tech stack:

• Setup: Multisite marketplace, single back-end with unlimited front-ends (1 for each retailer).
• Back-End: BigCommerce, API based
• Front-End: Deity Falcon PWA (React)
• Front-End CMS: Storyblok
• Configurator: Webgl built on Svelte,
• Configurator Library: Three.js

This is an API heavy platform. On the primary platform, I would be looking to you to manage all the connectivity, spin up new front-ends every time we add a retailer, and work to automate as much of the onboarding of retail and brand partners into the system.

On the configurator, we already have a back-end developer. On that piece, I would be looking for you to advance the front-end of it and manage the asset and its development as a whole.
