IT Manager - Senior Developer

As our first IT Manager, you will serve as the internal IT lead for the company to solve our technical challenges. You will manage and provide a vision and strategy towards ensuring a robust infrastructure that prevents IT disruptions. You will also manage our e-commerce ecosystem development and its optimization.

A candidate suited for this role shall be very organized and able find creative solutions to interesting problems. Must be a self starting individual with proven ability to take ownership of the project for a results oriented drive to problem solve and learn more.

As the first member of our IT team it will be necessary to have experience in full stack development, code optimization, data integration, and also mentoring and working with junior developers in the near future.

You will be involved in:

Developing integrations between our ecommerce platform and other applications using APIs, EDI, middleware, etc..
Management of the data pipeline and storage.
Able to solve complex coding problems and provide stable, and secure core independently, develop code with relational databases, and work with APIs integration with a third party or creating custom APIs.
Enhance our productivity by creating useful scripts and business process automation
Ensure that our ecommerce and its apps are working flawlessly, interacting with the vendors as needed.
Assumes responsibility for infrastructure maintenance, automation, disaster planning and upgrading.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of coding experience

Good command of English and Spanish
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science

Proficient knowledge of Javascript, Python, JSON, HTML/CSS, SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Shopify customization and integration is a plus
Knowledge or interest in Airflow, Stitch, Bigquery.
Agile mindset, and experience working in an agile environment.
Strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
