Full Stack Engineer

CogAI's Full Stack Engineering Team is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the User Experience across web and mobile app

To that end, we are developing a world-class UX platform that will make understading the operations in a plant intutive and fun to experience.

We are seeking Full Stack Software Engineer(s) who will be developing large scale client-side applications using the latest javascript features, frameworks and tooling. She/He will be building from the ground up with an obsession towards making these experiences memorable for the users.

This is what you’ll do:

Create client-side applications along the customer journey that range from understanding the video data and deriving advanced analytics from it.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product designers to build user-friendly, immersive, reactive applications
2. Develop state of the art code with a keen eye on profiling , browser memory usage, load time of the apps
3. Consistently write useful tests for all code developed, ensuring a high quality bar is maintained
4. Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
5. Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber.
6. Proficiency with server side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net.
7. Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
8. Excellent verbal communication skills.
9. Good problem solving skills.

This is what you’ll need:

1. 2-6 years of relevant experience, with 2+ years of building large scale enterprise grade systems.
2. Experience building distributed systems at scale
3. Node, Javascript, React or other JS framework experience
4. HTML5, CSS/SASS, Restful APIs, JSON, HTTP
5. Excellent understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues as well as the ability to debug
6. Comfortable navigating trade-offs to bring the right data structure and algorithms to the problem
7. Meticulous around visibility of the systems you build – metrics, centralized logging, tracing
8. Dedicated to unit, integration testing and coverage – comfortable using tools of the trade on profiling, source control
9. Strong technical background in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technology field
