A joint venture by Muventa and Alacrity Mexico, believes that there is a better way to execute online sales transactions for merchants that experience significant fraud rates while at the same time improving overall sales conversion and channel profitability.

The joint venture is a seed stage cloud based initiative focusing on bringing to market quickly a software as a service solution capable of interacting with different e-commerce platforms as well as with online payment gateways.

*What you will do: *

• Work with the product team to build user cases, prototypes and then apply the learnings from those prototypes to build scalable and well thought out API based services utilizing machine learning models to prevent online fraud transactions.
• Design processes and backend workflows that revolve on frontend functionality and prediction machines to prevent “card-not-present” online frauds.
• Lead the product development team, iterate on ideas and liaison with Data Scientists and business development to build product functionality and deploy to production with a high level of confidence.
• Build reliable and highly available microservices and APIs capable of interacting in real time with existing e-commerce APIs and third party platforms.
• Create clear interfaces between systems to enable component interoperability.

*What we are looking for: *

• An experienced full stack backend and frontend developer that can build complex systems from the ground up.
• Excitement about joining a new technology company utilizing already built machine learning models to prevent online frauds for eCommerce transactions.
• Ability to make tradeoffs between technology stacks throughout the various product lifecycles (from MVP to full functional product) and allow the startup to deliver value to its customers as quickly as possible.
• An engineer that has a high bar for their and others’ work.
• Pace setters that understand that systems improve through frequent, if not daily iteration.
• Ability to quickly debug problems across distributed systems.
• Knowledge of backend languages and frameworks that can seamlessly integrate machine learning models built in python with capacity to interact real-time with other APIs
