Director/VP Full Stack Engineer (python/react)

Job Description

• Work on an audio-centric platform where users interact around audio content and brands advertise direct-to-consumer.
• Develop robust data-driven APIs, media collection scripts, scaled data-mapping and 3rd party API integrations.
• Work closely with the Product team to scope and estimate work.
• Produce clear technical documentation. We are building a platform from the ground up and you’ll be on the team setting the tone for the future developers of the company.
  

Qualifications

• Experience in digital media publishing systems, CMS development, and video or audio streaming and.
• Strong development experience with Python on Linux using RDBMS, ReactJS and experience with JAM stack is a plus.
• Systems engineering experience
• Experience writing automated tests for your work. Test Driven Development a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work on cross-functional teams.
• Acts as a phenomenal teammate with strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Operational experience building startups from ground up a plus with experience in highly scaled environments.
• Knowledge of managing search on SaaS platforms like Algolia.
• Open Source -contribution experience is a plus.
• Experiences building digital media sites or networking platforms, ideally with integrated marketplace functionality.
• Experience with Ad Tech media player integration is a plus.
• Ideally 8+ years experience in a professional engineering role at successful companies.
• Computer Science or related degree a plus.
