Potato TV is looking for a digital marketing intern to help execute the go-to-market strategy for our social streaming product. The ideal applicant will have a passion for social media, streaming, and connecting people around TV & movies they love. We are looking for people who want to work on a fun product & who want to make an immediate impact. Successful interns will quickly understand our product, our user segments, and be able to provide innovative marketing solutions to reach them.
Develop, plan, & execute social media campaigns across major platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Twitter, & Facebook) for a social streaming consumer brand.
Analyze online content related to the brand and its competition on the Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, blogs, websites etc.) and prepare reports.
Learn to measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns through excel, google sheets, & other 3rd party reporting tools to assess performance against goals (ROI, LTV, CAC, and other KPIs)
Draft digital briefs and review with content creators for asset development
Source and produce engaging content to ensure social media channels are up to date, relevant, & interesting.
Conduct competitive research to stay informed on changes in the market landscape (messaging, social, streaming, & video) that could impact the overall success of marketing campaigns & our brand.
Learn & execute on the best channel, medium, or ad-unit for an advertising campaign based on our user segments.
Understand Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Tik Tok, Instagram, & Snapchat.
A desire to experiment with innovative marketing approaches, while having a solid understanding of the internet and social media marketing best practices.
Understand google analytics & paid social platforms.
Understand customer acquisition and activation strategies by segmentation.
Understanding of the end-to-end process: ad trafficking, campaign set up, optimizations and reporting
Strong communication style, allowing you to work closely with key stakeholders, using data to deliver qualitative insights
Proficiency with Excel/Google sheets
Strong interest in Internet Marketing & Analytics
Time: part-time/full-time flexibility
Duration: 10-12 weeks
