CrowdJustice is a tech-for-good platform that gives people and communities a voice for building support for legal action, and lawyers a way to open up access to more clients.

CrowdJustice is a critical part of the access to justice infrastructure in the UK. Over 1,000 legal matters have been funded through CrowdJustice – from doctors fighting for better PPE to those fighting against deportation. Seven CrowdJustice cases have reached the Supreme Court and many more have changed the law.

Cases on CrowdJustice are in the news nearly every week – they genuinely change lives and it’s often not an exaggeration to say, society as a whole. We’ve also won fantastic awards like The Lawyer’s Tech Product of the Year and the Financial Times Legal Innovator of the Year.

The role

We’re seeking an ambitious Operations Analyst to join our small but high-impact team. Our ideal candidate is analytical and quick to experiment and learn. An ability to work with data is key.

This is a perfect role for someone who wants to work with and have a real impact on multiple key business levers - our data-driven approach to decision making, our top class customer support, and business development.

This is a fast-paced environment where good communication and a willingness to get stuck in and get things done is highly valued.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Analysis of data to help inform and drive decision making.
• Assist the Head of CrowdJustice in streamlining and scaling operational execution – taking some of the systems that are creaking as we grow and helping to improve and automate them.
• Help manage day-to-day CrowdJustice support/ops for our three user types.
• Be the eyes and ears of the company, ensuring that we action user feedback to improve our product.

What you’ve done

We’re not concerned with if you have a degree, or how many years of work experience you have under your belt, but our ideal candidate will have:

• learnt SQL. You’re able to find the right numbers and present data clearly.
• experience of communicating and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
• worked (and thrived in) a fast-paced work environment.

Remote working (Covid-19 Statement)

As of March 2020 we are fully remote. There will be the opportunity to work in our physical offices again once the pandemic no longer poses a threat. In the meantime, we have adapted our tools and processes to support productive, connected, collaborative work from our homes around the UK.

Interview Process

Interviews can be stressful so we've designed our interview process to be fair, friendly and responsive. There are no surprise stages, and you'll always be prepared for the next step.

• 20-30 minute non-technical phone/zoom chat about the role with your potential Line Manager, the Head of CrowdJustice
• SQL test
• 45 min interview with Line Manager and members of the Legl team.
• 15 minute 1:1 with our CEO
