Software Development Engineer - Full Stack Developer

The Company

ICS is the oldest career counseling provider in India and works with most a-list schools in India and the Middle east.

We now want to build ICS 2.0: An online career counseling platform which pairs ICS's deep knowledge of the counseling space, their networks and goodwill with the reach and efficiency of a tech platform to build a scalable career counseling platform.

In other words, do what BYJU's did but in the Career Counseling space which is an INR 5000 Cr industry in India and is growing rapidly.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum Bachelors in Computer Science from top-tier engineer school or has worked with scaled products.
• 2+ years of experience on full stack development in a startup or similar work environment.
• Mobile-first/mobile-web approach and design patterns.
• Experience with the mobile/ web frameworks (E.g. React.JS, React Native, Node JS, My SQL )
• Experience with devops and PWA is a bonus.
• Ability to work under pressure, tight timelines and an unstructured environment
• Curiosity for beautiful web and interest to keep abreast with modern web practices and trends
• Hustler, with a strong can do mentality, who is joining us to build on a vision.

You will help develop the vision and strategy for ICS 2.0 , you will work closely with product and design to lead the execution to help deliver this.

We strongly believe in the Lean Startup philosophy. You will create MVPs, prototypes, incremental rollouts and simple tests to validate ideas and iterate rapidly.

You will sit with your product team and work closely with them on a daily basis. You will build prototypes, ship small chunks of neat, quality code with small features frequently. You will build an extensible architecture that allows the product team to run its experiments.
