Public Relations Specialist (esports)

We are hitcap esports GmbH, a newly established startup in the esports scene with aspirations to revolutionize the growing esports market and to offer everyone involved in esports a new home. We are looking for a Public Relations Specialist who can help us in delivering the public image we intend to have, helping us get our mission across, while establishing a sense of community with targeted engagement among our growing audience and creating more brand awareness across different media outlets. This position can be executed full-time or part-time.

Your tasks:

• Develop and execute targeted communication strategies to grow and shape our brand name alongside our social media team
• Identify and create opportunities to increase media presence
• Improve our network at the personal and organisational level
• Spot and pursue opportunities for partnerships and value generating opportunities
• Coordinate and execute campaigns with our social media team to create engagement
• Develop and execute our LinkedIn strategy
  
• Engage in active data journalism, gathering internally curated data and turning it into marketable stories

Your profile:

• Very good understanding of the gaming and esports industry
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Proven track record to develop and execute successful public relations campaigns
