Heropa is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Engineering team. We’re a growth stage technology company focusing on the sales enablement and virtual training sectors. Our SaaS platform has been organically growing over the past few years and is now ready for some big changes.

This is a remote position, with some overlap with European working hours needed.

About the role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will work in a small, high performing team focussed on taking our Heropa SaaS platform to the next level.

You will play an integral role in helping scale our platform while we continue to grow. This is a hands-on role where you’ll have ownership of feature development, and also help to scale our architecture, product and team.

What you'll be working on

• Developing high-quality re-usable code in an agile framework
• Participating in peer code reviews and testing
• Support and maintenance of our production environments
• Contributing your knowledge, experience, and ideas to the team
• Jumping in anywhere you’re comfortable to help out

About you

• You are first and foremost a great developer
• You have extensive commercial experience building complex applications
• You are a team player and a great communicator
• You love a challenge
• You can work autonomously and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Skills and experience

• Solid skills across the full tech stack with an interest in developing both backend and frontend software. A bias towards one is expected.
• Strong experience working in Angular, AngularJS, Node.js
• Working knowledge with NoSQL stores. We use MongoDB.
• Experience with software development best practices, such as unit testing, code review and CI/CD.

Bonus points

• Experience working in growth stage startups
• Experience and functional understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Experience working with DevOps - Jenkins, Terraform
• A degree qualification in IT, software engineering or a related field
• Linux system admin skills are always useful
