Bot Experience Composer

Gridspace is creating spoken dialogue systems that are more natural and conversational than voice assistants. We're looking for a driven and flexible creative lead for a multi-faceted artificial intelligence role. Partly, th e role overlaps with a voice experience designer, in that the role requires authoring bot experiences both for public demonstrations and for customers.

Gridspace is also building the bot platform itself, so the role also includes specifying and testing new core bot capabilities in a role that resembles a quality assurance role and a product manager. Finally, Gridspace also builds the speech synthesis itself, and the role includes direction, scripting, and recording voice actors for speech synthesis along with providing feedback to the speech synthesis team. In essence, this role has one primary goal: to improve everything about the Gridspace Grace bots other than writing code. Strong responsibility, organizational skills, and perseverance are absolute musts.

Education and Experience: Creative or design degree from a top school. Experience in film, television, music engineering, and animation is strongly preferred. Experience with sound and audio technology is required. Experience building bots for other platforms such as Amazon Alexa is a plus. A strong interest and self-education in machine learning, voice synthesis, and audio technology is a plus as well.
