Lead Backend Engineer, Game APIs

With our two top grossing titles, Covet Fashion and Design Home, Crowdstar has developed new ways for users (players) to enjoy fashion and interior design. The Role:

We are looking for a Technical Lead Software Engineer to guide our Game APIs team. In this position, you will be exposed to using PHP to build and maintain the server APIs for game features vital to Covet Fashion in fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
8+ years of PHP development experience in a fast-paced environment with short project deadlines.
A strong track record of delivering high-quality features
Experience owning product features from inception, through the design, implementation and delivery.
Strong object-oriented programming skills.
Experience building based server-side REST and/or SOAP APIs.
Experience with NoSQL and relational databases.
Experience with PHP debugging and testing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Passionate about building games that will be played by millions around the world.
BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or 3+ years experience.
Preferred Experience with:
Leading PHP frameworks like Laravel/Lumen, Symfony, Zend, etc.
Breaking down monolithic code into microservices
Cloud deployments using AWS and/or GCP
Git, SVN and/or some other version control systems.
Linux shell scripting.
Docker, Kubernetes, and other container managers
