The Role

First Station Media is looking to add to a Marketing Intern to our growing team. Candidate must have experience working for an advertising agency and selling related services via phone, in-person meetings and email.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing current clients, obtaining new clients, managing sales logs, and tirelessly networking to close new businesses.

Our ideal candidate has experience in sales, a history of stellar customer service, and is hard-working and eager to learn in a very fast-paced, competitive environment. This candidate will also be asked to run project-related errands for clients (driver's license and vehicle are required).

Responsibilities:
• Research prospective clients
• Cold calling
• Create long-lasting partnerships through meaningful and attentive networking
• Present advertising services to prospective clients in person or via phone/email
• Remain in contact with clients to ensure their needs are met
• Negotiate sales agreements for advertising services

Job Qualifications:
• Proven experience in sales/marketing
• Knowledge of sales tactics
• Advanced knowledge of social media outlets, SEO/SEM services and the advertising opportunities they offer, willingness to learn
• Superior customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Eager to learn and willing to take direction
• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, sales and/or marketing
