Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper

This is a PART TIME Contractor Position.

We will require that you come in once or twice every month, approximately 10 hours a month. Our office is located in the San Francisco Peninsula area:
1. Issue invoices to clients
2. Conduct a monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
3. Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
4. Maintain internal Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements
5. Provide information to the external accountant who creates the company’s financial statements
6. Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
7. Maintain the chart of accounts
8. Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
9. Follow accounting policies and procedures

You will be working directly with the Founder of this fast growing startup. Since we are a startup, and a consulting firm, we will have relatively simple accounts to maintain.

Successful Candidate will be compensated at $50/hour.
