Senior Digital Strategist

We are looking for a Sr. Digital Marketing Strategist to join our fast-growing marketing team.

As the Digital Marketing Strategist, you will work with the strategy and creative team, be responsible for the development of direct response campaigns to promote products and generate leads. You’ll be focused on managing customer acquisition and retargeting campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google AdWords and other online advertising networks.

We’re looking for an individual with funnel building experience who’s able to test, track and measure their campaigns.

Responsibilities

Create advertising funnels and direct our design/development team on building landing pages for your campaigns
Handle all media buying problem solving and work with our facebook rep to fix any problems.
Work with account strategist to create initial media buying strategies, write ad copy, and build audiences
Strategize and write lead in content for client campaigns
Execute SEO, SEM, E-mail Marketing, Website Design, and Content Marketing and other client marketing projects to drive results for your clients
Work with account strategist to build reports for clients and regularly audit account to improve ROI on campaigns
Properly use time tracker to track client related time investment for operational purposes
Expectations to get client budgets to 1:1 returns within reasonable time
Proactively lead team members to support media buying and direct response marketing efforts for maximum success
Complete creative briefs for ad campaigns, website assets, landing pages, and email marketing.
Proactively bring ideas to the table for both client and company improvements. Take initiative to book internal meetings with team members
Create a plan to scale all clients below $10,000 per month in ad spend to $10,000 per month in ad spend
Anything beyond your standard job description will be seen as exceeding expectations and will be recognized
Quarterly office visits to KC or San Diego (paid for in full by Boomn) to foster team building and personal connection

Requirements:
-2+ years direct experience executing and managing performance-based paid media campaigns doing direct response marketing for ecommerce, mobile app install campaigns, or lead generation.
-Must have knowledge on building advertising funnels and be able to direct our design/development team on building landing pages for your campaigns
-Must have experience managing and optimizing to scale budgets (ideally budgets over $10K per month in spend)
-Expert in using Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager/Power Editor.
Ideally has experience in Google Adwords and Google Shopping.
-Understanding of fundamental media metrics and calculations (CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA).
-Ability to contribute to an entrepreneurial, innovative and collaborative team-based environment.
-Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities and pay strong attention to details.
-Extremely analytical, detail-oriented and organized.
-Demonstrates problem solving and project management skills.
-Desire and drive to always be learning.
