At Applozic, our platform helps developers engage,retain their users by allowing them to embed our In-App Chat and Messaging, Video and Voice through our Platform APIs and SDKs.Our goal is to offer products that drive high-level of engagement from their existing customers and retain them for life, we are the Twilio for IP Messaging.
This is a senior engineering role with the potential to grow into a boardroom executive role. As your contribution takes the company to its next orbit, all bets are on with respect to what you could be doing next. While you could continue to execute what you love doing, here are two potential growth paths in the next few years: Grow into an external customer-facing technology officer, grow into an internal organization facing senior engineering executive.
We are looking for someone to lead Engineering at Applozic, You’ll be responsible for coming up with Technology strategy, execution, hiring and setting a foundation for major growth in 2021 and beyond.

Who you are
You are Swiss Army Knife with a solid Engineering/Systems background,you have the ability to just get things done independently while building an amazing team.
Technical
Strong experience in Web Application Architectures, System Design, Distributed systems, Algorithms, Data Structures, Scalable and reliable systems
Multiple Full Web stack experience ( Front-end, Backend, Database etc), Deep expertise in 1-2 tech stacks ( C++, Java, Node, Go etc)
Experience running services, microservices in Cloud Native Enviornments
Have scaled 1-2 Product lines Zero to Millions of users
Drive and Implement best in class engineering practices
Experience with Ops - Network, Security, Reliability Engineering
Expertise in DevOps (CI, CD) and in Cloud native environments - public clouds, containers, serverless, kubernetes etc)
Product
Worked in a Developer Platform or B2B SaaS environments
Experience working with product leaders ( VP, C level) or had reportees under him ( PMs, Senior PMs etc)
Familiarity with Data-driven methods to inform decisions about product, technical roadmap
General Traits
Problem Solver ( this is a core trait irrespective of tech, product or business problem)
Ex-Entrepreneur and Self driven, motivated ( strong hunger to succeed) and keen to own outcomes
Managed a team of at least a team of 50+ Engineers, QA, DevOps, Release engineers etc and have 1-2 Director level reportees.
Have strong business and product mindset ( ability to collaborate with every functional guy and gain respect)
Ability to scale, learn quickly ( ability to work as individual contributor or manage a 250 member)
Humility and Ego ( at lowest levels)
